Entries are encouraged from Australia including undergraduate teams from Universities. The IStructE Structural Awards 2008 will be focused on attracting international entries. Engineers Australia EngQuest will be run mid-2008 to encourage primary school level participation in engineering activities. Engineering Week will be an opportunity to discuss the female engineer. ASEC 2008 – Australasian Structural Engineering Conference, Melbourne, 26 – 27 June 2008 Organized by Engineers Australia (Structural College) and IABSE (Paul Grundy). IStructE HQ will be funding one speaker for this conference – Prof. Dr.-Ing Werner Sobek.
