It is with sadness that we note the death of David Booth.(97 Mitchley Avenue South Croydon, Surrey, CR2 9HP) Mr Booth passed away at the age of 53 years. He had been a Member of the Institution since 1985.

JOHN ANTHONY DERRINGTON (F):

We are saddened to learn of the death of John Derrington, of 3 Gorham Avenue, Rottingdean, Brighton, BN2 7DP, at the age of 86 years. Mr Derrington was a past president of the Institution. He joined the Institution in 1953.

AJMAL IBRAHIM HUSSAIN

It is with sadness that we note the death of Ajmal Ibrahim Hussain, at the age of 73 years. He had been a Member of the Institution since 1960.

JOHN DAVID DRAKE(M):

We are saddened to learn of the death of John Drake of 20 Allington Road, Orpington, Kent BR6 8BA, a Member of the Institution since 1964. Mr Drake was 72 years old at the time of his death.

ARTHUR JAMES TAUNTON(M):

We note with sadness the death of Arthur James Taunton. Mr Taunton passed away at the age of 87 years. He had been a member of the Institution since 1954.

RICHARD ASHTON BARNETT(M):

We are saddened to learn of the death of Richard Barnett of 7 Fairways, Kenley, Surrey CR8 5HY, a Member of the Institution. Mr Barnett was 55 years old at the time of his death.)

ANTONI NOSEK (F):

We are saddened to learn of the death of Mr Antoni Nosek from his son, Mr Richard. Mr Nosek was 91 years old at the time of his death.

FRAZER DEWAR GLEIG (M):

We note with sadness the death of Mr Frazer Dewar Gleig. Mr Gleig passed away on 20 February 2009 at the age of 67 years.

WALTER DONALD KERSHAW(f)

It is with sadness that we note the death of Mr Walter Donald Kershaw of 43 Willis Court, Bencurtis Park, Corkscrew Hill, West Wickham. Mr Kershaw was 87 years of age. He had joined the Institution in 1956.

LEO CHARLES ERIC HELD (F):

We are saddened to learn of the death of Mr Leo Charles Eric Held who was 89 years old. He had been a member of the Institution since 1981.

TERENCE FREDRICK MEARS (F):

We note with sadness the death of Mr Mears, who passed away on 21 March 2009 at the age of 78 years. He had been a member of the Institution since 1957.

ANTONY THOMAS COOPER(M):

We note with sadness the death of Mr Cooper, as informed by his wife, Mrs Cooper. (72, Glebe Way, West Wickham, Kent BR4 0SA). Mr Cooper passed away on 20 march 2009 at the age of 77 years. He had been a member of the Institution since 1971.

ALAN JAMES SAUNDERS (M)

It is with sadness that we note the death of Alan Saunders(22c Valley Road, Kenley, Surrey CR8 5DG). Alan was 58 years of age. He had joined the Institution in 1976.

ALAN DAVID WELLER(F):

It is with sadness that we hear of the death of Alan Weller. Mr Weller passed away on 1 May 2009 at the age of 78 years. Alan was a founding member of the SE Counties Branch Committee where his energy and enthusiasm was greatly appreciated. His specialist knowledge in steel construction was utilised in the early development of Eurocodes.

STANLEY EASTON (M):

We are saddened to learn of the death of Mr Easton(13 Foxes Dale, Bromley, BR2 0JS). Mr Easton had been a Member of the Institution since 1976.

JOHN KAY PICKNETT (M):

We are saddened to learn of the death of Mr John Picknett at the age of 82.

OVE TANG BARFOD (M):

We are saddened to learn of the death of Mr Barfod at the age of 98 years. Mr Barfod had been a Member of the Institution since 1954.

THOMAS ASAMOAH TOTOE(M):

We note with sadness the death of Thomas Totoe (13 Northumberland Gardens, Micham, Surrey) at the age of 49 years. Mr Totoe had been a member of the Institution since 1989.

SESHADRI NARASIMHAN(M)

We are saddened to learn of the death of Mr Narasimhan at the age of 70. (48 Beaulieu Avenue, Sydenham, London SE26 6PP). Mr Narasimhan had been a Member of the Institution since 1987.

ROY GRAHAM GEORGE BURBIDGE(M):

We note with sadness the death of Roy Burbidge(217, Commonside East, Mitcham, Surrey, CR4 1HB). Mr Burbidge was 70 years of age and he had been a member of the Institution since 1973.

DAVID CYRIL BUTCHER(M)

It is with sadness that we note the death of David Butcher(Flat 10 57, Park Hill, Carshalton, Surrey, SM5 3SE). Mr Butcher was 78 years of age and had been a member of the Institution since 1965.

JOHN CHARLES CHAPMAN(M)

We are saddened to learn of the death of Mr Chapman, 49 Ashcroft Road, Paddock Wood, Tonbridge TN12 6LQ. He had been a Member of the Institution since 1976.
