This meeting of the Management and Maintenance of Bridges Study Group is on the topic of 'Masonry Arch Bridges: Assessment & Strengthening'. It is intended for local authority, consultant, contractor and academic engineers and will address the issues of modern understanding of arch bridges behaviour, strength assessment and strengthening options.

This all day conference will be held at Brunel University on Tuesday 1st July 2008 between 9.30am and 4.30pm. The Convenor, Bill Harvey will be speaking during the morning session and will chair the afternoon session.
