Working in EuropeThe Institution of Civil Engineers has produced a document titled 'Working as an Engineer in Europe: A guide to recognition under EU legislation'.The guide covers recognition under the First General System, which covers protected titles and professions at the level of Chartered Engineer or Incorporated Engineer in the UK. There is a separate set of rules for titles and professions under the Second General System, which includes the level of Engineering Technician in the UK. The rules apply to all EU Member States and to the four EFTA countries Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland. |
