Briefing Notes
Part of the Sustainable Construction Panel’s terms of reference is to provide a forum for debate and dissemination of information on sustainable construction issues relevant to the Membership. With this in mind, the panel is putting together a series of briefing notes which outline specific topics to help structural engineers implement sustainable solutions. Each briefing note is succinct and provides an overview of what a structural engineer should consider in each of the areas covered.
Each briefing note is published in The Structural Engineer, the IStructE fortnightly journal. They are then made available on this page to the wider public. Click on one of the links below to download a briefing note in PDF format.
