Building for Environmental and Economic Sustainability
BEES is a software package which automates an approach for measuring the life-cycle environmental and economic performance of building products. It is available by contacting the National Institute of Standards and Technology (US). A web based version is planned for 2008.
Athena Institute
The Athena Institute develops and provides sustainability assessment tools such as an Impact Estimator and Eco Calculator; also software packages which provide Life Cycle Analysis for a wide range of building structures.

LISA is a life cycle assessment tool aimed at architects. The tool aims to identify key environmental issues and give designers the ability to evaluate the environmental aspects of building design.
