The Institution of Structural Engineers has three separate charities which have been set up to raise awareness and funds for their specific causes, which are as follows:
Benevolent Fund (Registered Charity Number 1049171)
The Benevolent Fund helps Institution members and their dependants who encounter financial difficulties.
Educational Trust (Registered Charity Number 1001625)
The Educational Trust aims to encourage young people to enter the structural engineering profession and support their development.

The Research Fund is intended to support those undertaking research in structural engineering and those involved in the dissemination of the results.
