Governance
The Institution of Structural Engineers is governed under its Royal Charter, bye-laws and the applicable regulations
The Institution Council consists of the President, Vice-Presidents, past Presidents, representatives of regional groups and members who are elected for a period of three years. The Institution is supported by an executive of 47 staff. The Board is the governing body of the Institution. Its members are the Institution's Trustees.
