The Baker Room is named after Professor John Fleetwood Baker (1901-1985), who was the second ever recipient of the Institution of Structural Engineer's Gold Medal in 1953.

The Baker Room is similar in dimensions to the Adams Room (40 meters²), yet has windows on one wall rather than two. This set up offers a great alternative for events which require less natural light, such as evening meetings or projected presentations.

The Baker Room is located on the ground floor of the building* and features high ceilings and Victorian styling, including a period fireplace which adds style and character to the space. The room has a full AV system to cater for all types of business event, from meetings and corporate lunches to evening receptions.
