Tony Gibbs

TonyTony Gibbs has extensive industry experience practising mainly in the Caribbean.  

Tony graduated from The Queen's University of Belfast and he was a Commonwealth Scholar at The University of Leeds.
 
His engineering career includes assignments with Norman & Dawbarn in Trinidad, Ove Arup & Partners in London and Caribbean Construction Company in Jamaica. He has also been a Director and Consultant at CEP (Eastern Caribbean) and the American Association for Wind Engineering.

Tony has received a number of awards during his career including the international award for 'Very Significant Contributions to Hurricane Loss Reduction and Hurricane Safety in the Caribbean'. In 2010 he was also named 'Caribbean Icon in Science, Technology and Innovation' by the Trinidad & Tobago National Institute of Higher Education.
