STRUCTURAL DESIGN ERRORS - LEARNING FROM THE MISTAKES OF OTHERS - 16th March 2010

One of the most valuable actions an engineer can take is to become acquainted with the lessons of the past. We are all human; we make mistakes and, as we are involved in safety-critical design issues it is essential that we learn from the past.

This very interesting subject will be presented by John Carpenter and will examine the philosophy and outline key lessons that arise from a study of the past.
