Welcome to the East Midlands Branch

THE DERWENT BRIDGE AT THE SILK MILL, 14th May 2009

This technical meeting, to be held at the Silk Mill Museum, will cover the inspiration behind the design, the competition process, the structural & architectural design and construction of the new Derwent bridge.

It will be presented by Stephen Wilson, Project Engineer, and Stephen James, Project Architect, both of Ramboll, and by David Price, Mechanical Engineer, formerly of Bennetts.

The venue will also be a great opportunity for exclusive access to the museum and its many fascinating exhibits. The museum also affords excellent views of the bridge.

Please note the change in date - further details from our meetings page.

MEETINGS UPDATE

A reminder that the current listing of our programme of events and forthcoming meetings is posted on our meetings page (see the link in the left hand panel). Further details will be available shortly - we believe that you will find them interesting and encourage you to participate.
