IPD Company Register
Following the success of the Initial Professional Development (IPD) scheme, the Institution has developed a Company Register which is designed to guide companies and their employees through the IPD process and to publicly recognise the commitment these companies have to their employee's development.
The companies listed on our register have received a presentation explaining the regulations and procedures and have stated that they are able to provide the necessary training and support for their employees to undertake the 12/13 Core Objectives on which IPD is based. The companies have also confirmed that they will provide suitable mentors to assist their employees.
Registration on the scheme facilitates communication between the company and the Institution and allows employees the opportunity to speak directly to appropriate Institution staff. Companies have also worked with the Institution to incorporate the IPD regulations into their own, in-house training schemes by using the core objective guidance as a basis for their training requirements.
Registration on the scheme also provides companies with the opportunity to submit information on their training activities for inclusion on the Institution’s website.
