The Institution publishes authoritative books and technical reports that provide essential, accurate information for structural engineers.

Our reports provide reliable information to allow structural engineers to proceed with confidence.

The reports are carefully prepared by individual task groups reporting to the Institution's technical publications panel.

Each report is subjected to a rigorous peer review procedure and reviewed by at least two external assessors, the Panel members and representatives from the divisions and the UK branches.

Where appropriate, reports are then subjected to legal review.

A list of reports currently being prepared can be found on the task groups page.

EEFIT reports
The Earthquake Engineering Field Investigation Team (EEFIT) is a group of British earthquake engineers, architects and academics who collaborate with colleagues in earthquake prone countries to improve the seismic resistance of both traditional and engineered structures.

Information on EEFIT publications, including free downloadable reports, can be found on the EEFIT website.
