A major new product from Elsevier. Similar to Web of Science, offering extensive database searching across all journals by publishers in the CrossRef scheme. CrossRef is a consortium the major publishers who have developed a scheme whereby each individual paper, once available electronically, is given a DOI (Digital Object Identifier) enabling papers referenced in one paper to be hyperlinked to directly. Hugely expensive, only university libraries can afford this kind of product.
