Web catalogue

The Library catalogue is available for you to search, free of charge. This also contains references to over 14,000 individual journal articles, from a variety of sources dating from the mid 1980`s onwards, but including major papers from The Structural Engineer from volume 1.

Some on screen help is available, however, if your search is not successful the library can help you to get the best out of your search. We can suggest ways to improve your search, or carry out the search for you, if you wish, providing you with custom-made printout of references. We also have some additional resources in-house, and can make a search of the stock itself in answer to a specific question. There may be a charge for a particularly detailed or lengthy search. We can also advise you on the relevant texts for more general topics, or refer you to other resources.

Photocopy service

Photocopies are supplied according to the requirements of the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 and the Copyright and Related Rights Regulations 2003. Click here for guidance on requesting a photocopy from the Library.

Fax

An additional charge is made for copies sent by fax.
