Graduate
Becoming a Graduate member of IStructE reveals a determination to succeed in a career as a structural engineer.
Open to anyone who has completed an approved course; Graduate members are guided towards full membership of the Institution through a course of Initial Professional Development (IPD). Alongside professional experience it is intended that IPD will prepare the Graduate member for either Chartered Membership or Associate-Membership.
Many employers regard Graduate membership of IStructE as evidence of a positive commitment to the profession.
