Individual Case Procedure
All applicants not holding an accredited degree or equivalent recognised by the Institution are required to make a full submission under the Individual Case Procedure.
An application form G must be completed and submitted together with verified copies of degree certificate(s), academic transcripts, student membership fee and Assessment Fee. The Academic Qualifications Panel, which meets four times each year will assess each application on an individual basis, taking into consideration the subjects and the level completed within the programme of study. The total academic package is then assessed against the full current academic requirements. Whilst the assessment is being undertaken, applicants will be elected to Student member.
In cases where the applicant's qualifications are deemed by the Panel to fully meet the academic requirements of the grade for which they have applied, candidates will be automatically transferred to Graduate member. Such candidates may apply to enter the appropriate Professional Review when they are able to demonstrate that they have completed all 13 core objectives of the Initial Professional Development (IPD) scheme.
Applicants whose qualifications are not deemed to be of an appropriate standard to fully meet the current requirements will be required to complete additional examinations and/or the Technical Report before they are eligible to transfer to Graduate member and apply to enter the appropriate Professional Review (Interview and Examination).
