Are you a Chartered Member? Would you be interested in a mentoring programme?

Published: 02/07/2012

The CIC are looking for a Chartered Structural Engineer who might be willing to mentor a participant in their Fluid Diversity Mentoring Programme.

This mentoring programme is a pilot project set up by CIC and a number of other partners, including Architects for Change, RIBA, The Stephen Lawrence Trust and ConstructionSkills.

It is due to run over a 12 month period and aims to address the retention and development of talented practitioners from diverse backgrounds for management and leadership roles in the built environment.

For information on the project please visit the CIC skills website

One of the mentees who has applied is an assistant resident structural engineer who is based in Bahrain.

As the programme can be facilitated via emails, Skype or telephone conversations it could be someone who is based in the UK.

It would, clearly, also be relevant to anyone based in Bahrain.

If you are interested in helping, please contact Hannah Collie by email hcollie@cic.org.uk or on +44 (0)20 7399 7409 or 7400.
