IStructE technical reports
The Institution has a long-standing reputation in the production of authoritative publications in the form of its technical reports. These are subject to a rigorous peer review procedure.
In order for a report to be accepted for publication as an IStructE report it must be assessed by the Technical Publications Panel, reviewed by an assessor and commented on by members of Council and the Engineering Practice Committee. If the panel is satisfied that the report should be published by the IStructE it will be approved subject to legal review.

EEFIT conducts field investigations following major damaging earthquakes, and reports to the local and international engineering community on the performance of civil engineering and building structures under seismic loading.
