Library Services
The Institution of Structural Engineers' Library offers a number of additional services. A full list of services is detailed below.
Loans
Books, reports, standards and audiovisual materials can be borrowed in person or by post. The normal loan period is four weeks for books and three weeks for audiovisual material.
We will need your Institution membership number to issue books. Please bring your membership card to the Library or quote the number when requesting postal loans.
Research services
The Institution can undertake research on your behalf including paper-based and electronic resource searches, photocopying, suggested reading and reference lists. Please contact Library staff directly to discuss your requirements.
Inter-library loans
The Institution participates in an inter-library loan system. The inter-library scheme is currently for members in UK & Ireland only.
Reading lists
We provide reading lists which aim to help you with research, courses and professional development.
