Research

The Institution seeks, through its Research Panel, to promote all aspects of research related to the science and art of structural engineering. The Research Fund provides financial support to researchers and is grateful to the contributions from Institution members which underpin the fund.

The Institution particularly encourages young people in research. Undergraduates can apply for Young Researcher Grants to support their term time projects. Post graduates who have yet to complete their PhD are invited to attend the annual Young Researchers Conference.
