Synopsis of project: The Concrete Society/Institution of Structural Engineers report Standard method of detailing structural concrete was published in1989. This has become widely used and is accepted as the industry standard. As an essential part of the transition to European design Standards, the project will review and update the Technical Report in the light of the new Eurocode 2, Design of concrete structures, and associated European Standards. This will lead to increased efficiency in working practices.
