Standing Committee on the Implementation of Eurocodes

One of the recommendations within the report National Strategy for Implementation of the Structural Eurocodes in the UK: Design Guidance was:

'A group should be established to monitor the process of implementation of the structural Eurocodes in the UK and advise on changes to the strategy that become necessary as the process progresses.'

The Institution set up the Standing Committee on the Implementation of Eurocodes early in 2005 in response to this recommendation. The committee is chaired by Professor David Nethercot and meets approximately quarterly. For further details see the Terms of Reference and Membership List.
