Eurocode 1 Manual (Actions)

This Task Group is preparing a Manual for the design of common building structures to Eurocode 1 which will reflect the following parts of EN 1990 and EN 1991 and their respective UK National Annexes.

• EN 1990: Eurocode: Basis of structural design (items relating to actions and their combination)
• EN 1991-1-1: Eurocode 1: Actions on Structures: Densities, self-weight and imposed loads
• EN 1991-1-2: Eurocode 1: Actions on Structures: Actions on structures exposed to fire
• EN 1991-1-3: Eurocode 1: Actions on Structures: Snow loads
• EN 1991-1-4: Eurocode 1: Actions on Structures: Wind loads
• EN 1991-1-5: Eurocode 1: Actions on Structures: Thermal actions
• EN 1991-1-6: Eurocode 1: Actions on Structures: Execution actions
• EN 1991-1-7: Eurocode 1: Actions on Structures: Accidental actions

The manual is being drafted by The Building Research Establishment (BRE) under a contract with Communities and Local Government (CLG) but under the direction of the Institution Task Group.

It is anticipated that the Manual will be published in 2008.
