Industry Experience/Projects:	I have been involved in several schemes both in the UK and overseas. The project size ranges from small scale element design to multi-million pound schemes including the following: �50 million Birmingham schools PFI. The scheme consists of ten primary schools, a secondary school and a technical college, built in two phases on an extremely tight schedule. 30 Crown Place; this project consists of an 18-storey steel framed with two level of basement for car parking and storage. The design includes a transfer structure at 17th floor from which the south wing of floors 10 to 17 is hung thus allowing for maximum column free space. The new 76000 capacity Liverpool Football Club stadium to be built at Anfield, Liverpool. Construction is planned to be completed in 2010.
Specialist Interests:	Over recent year, I have developed keen interest in sustainable construction and how engineers can contribute during the early stage the scheme to ensure an environmentally friendly end-product. I am also interest in appropriate technologies and the application of low cost, sustainable materials for improving the infrastructure of low income level countries.
Hobbies/Interests:	I am passionate to promote engineering and to share my experience in engineering with the younger generation so as to either generate and/or sustain their interest in engineering. Having fantastic time with my baby boy. Also a non-addictive football enthusiast, love choral music and enjoy teaching. I take an active role in the Midland Counties Branch where I am currently the Vice Chairman of the Young Members' Group. I am looking forward to help establish a similar group in my native country, Ghana.
