Ten simply supported 1.5 m square, under-reinforced, orthogonally prestressed concrete slabs have been tested to failure under centrally applied concentrated loading. Nominal concrete strength was 50 N/mm2. Steel ratio, platen size and average prestress were varied. Concrete strains, steel strains and slab deflections were measured during each test.
