Collaborative Reporting for Safer Structures UK (CROSS-UK) is operated jointly by the Institutions of Structural and Civil Engineers.
CROSS-UK is a confidential safety reporting system for buildings and other structures. It allows professionals working across the built environment to share their concerns about, and experiences of, structural safety and fire safety. This sharing of knowledge helps others make structures safer.
CROSS-UK publishes safety information that supports continuous learning at all levels across the built environment.
CROSS also has an
international presence.
CARE is a published list identifying civil and structural engineers who are skilled in the conservation of historic structures and sites. The Register is administered by ICE and supported by the Institution. Members of the Institution with appropriate experience are able to apply.
RedR helps rebuild the lives of people affected by natural disaster and conflict by supplying engineers and other skilled professionals to humanitarian programmes worldwide. IStructE is a patron of the charity.
