This committee has been created to focus attention on the ‘nuts and bolts’ of the design of structures. The committee will also consider how the scope of structural engineering can be broadened to increase the leverage of individual members and improve the long term sustainability of the profession.
The work of the committee will gradually evolve to reflect the Institution’s global ambitions and create global thinking.
