Inspire the next generation

There are lots of ways to give back and support the next generation of structural engineers.

STEM Ambassadors

Share your passion for engineering with young people in schools.

Becoming a STEM Ambassador provides you with the opportunity to share your enthusiasm for science, technology, engineering and maths, and encourage young people into engineering careers.

As a STEM Ambassador, get involved by:
  • Delivering careers talks
  • Judging engineering and science competitions
  • Running or participating in after-school engineering clubs

Support an engineer as they pursue Chartered membership, Associate-Membership or Technician membership. Your knowledge, experience, ideas and insights will be invaluable.

The role of the mentor is to guide and motivate the candidate towards becoming a competent professional, enabling them to contribute to their company, the engineering profession and the community.
