Grant Weir, Managing Director at Robert Bird Group
Grant joined the Robert Bird Group in 1986 as a graduate engineer. Since joining the company he has not only built on his engineering knowledge and skills but also in the areas of project, people and business management, and fostering strong client relationships.
On the engineering front Grant brings extensive knowledge and experience in the design of structural steelwork, reinforced and pre-stressed concrete, resulting in a keen ability to develop innovative and cost effective design solutions on complex projects; areas in which he is well recognised for within the Robert Bird Group and with clients.
Tye Bridgman, QLD Manager of Mainland Civil
Tye joined Mainland Civil’s Sydney operations in 2002 as a site engineer, he acquired a wide range of skills working professionally on large CBD projects. As a result of his skills and expertise, he was given the task of establishing Mainland Civil in Queensland as General Manager in that state. Since taking on this role, he has been involved in the delivery of some of Australia’s largest and most challenging CBD projects.
