This lunch time webinar will emphasise why the historic restoration of buildings is important and the role structural engineers play in these types of projects.

The webinar will delve into the importance of our heritage buildings and why we should restore and re-adapt as opposed to destroy.

We shall look at how the restoration/renovation of these heritage buildings follow the circular design concept thus helping us to reduce our carbon footprint.

Finally, we shall examine what we, as structural engineers, need to be mindful of when we are called to assess a heritage building.

Speakers

Danielle Steele, Engineer, Danielle Steele Consultancy
