John Hattam has delivered training in many subjects to more than twenty blue chip companies in the engineering, financial and manufacturing sectors, in over thirty countries worldwide. He derives huge satisfaction from helping individuals and teams arrive at 'Eureka' moments, using his extensive experience to illustrate and apply concepts introduced in the training and coaching process.
He spent the first half of his working life in various senior sales, marketing and operational roles working for a number of companies. After a five year spell with Sainsbury's, he joined Rowntree Mackintosh (subsequently Nestlé) and worked his way to National Sales Manager. A four-year role as sales director for Richmond Foods and two years working again as a Regional Director for Nestlé. He made the decision to pursue self-employment in 2006.
In recent years, John has seen the potential of how simple businesses could alleviate poverty in the developing world and has since spent pro bono time in Rwanda, Uganda and Nigeria exploring this notion.
Those managing teams (on a permanent or temporary basis) who want to learn how to initiate, lead or manage change more effectively.
