Improving Business Performance through Coaching

Aim

This course improves business performance through development of a coaching approach to leadership.


Learning outcomes

By the end of the course, you should be able to:
 
  • Recognise the benefits of using a coaching approach to leadership
  • Develop key coaching skills 
  • Recognise some of your own barriers to effective coaching 
  • Understand how the skills of coaching can help with wider stakeholder relationships 


Tutor

Steve Holloway has an MSc in Executive Coaching and is a chartered engineer. He spent 15 years working in the corporate sector, where he held a variety of global, senior roles with responsibility for both direct and indirect teams. In his corporate role, Steve was responsible for the internal leadership academy and delivered coaching for manager and leadership development programmes.


Intended for

Managers who recognise that high performance is based on developing high quality relationships and whose objectives can only be achieved by delivering effectively through others.


Entry criteria

Participants are required to have some responsibility for leading or delivering through others.
