Moving into Engineering Management

Aim

This course gives first-time managers a toolbox of techniques to use for managing engineers and other technical staff.

Tutor

Penny Taylor has combined an engineering career in the automotive industry and academia with post-graduate qualifications in teaching, coaching and psychology. Penny has been involved in the Engineering Council registration processes for many years and currently leads the Institution of Mechanical Engineers CPD Assessment Committee.

 
Intended for

Anyone who is about to, or has recently, taken up responsibility for managing people for the first time.
