Aim

This course introduces the principles and techniques of marketing which can be used to grow your business.


Learning outcomes

By the end of the course, you should be able to:
 
  • Reflect on your company’s strengths and weaknesses
  • Refine and critique your company’s aspirations and strategy
  • Identify practical ways to market your company
  • Formulate a marketing plan

 
Tutor

David Brett DBA, DIC, CEng, MIStructE worked for Atkins, Arup, and the NBA, before becoming Group Marketing Director of the Conder Group during their major growth period and then formed his own marketing consultancy specialising in the professions. He has studied as a post graduate at Imperial College and the London School of Economics. David has written a number of papers for The Structural Engineer on marketing matters.


Intended for

Those working at a senior level in structural engineering practices and those aspiring to that level.
