NEW - Crack Assessment in Masonry Buildings

  • Explain the principles and processes of crack investigation
  • Identify crack mechanisms: most common causes and their consecutive movement in low rise masonry buildings
  • Assess whether the foundations of a building are moving by carrying out the monitoring processes
  • Describe remedial works to restore the aesthetic appeal, serviceability and stability of a masonry structure including underpinning techniques
