Hadley Group Steel Industry Workshop (Partner Event)

This is a partner event organised by Hadley Group and supported by The Institution of Structural Engineers.

The Institution of Structural Engineers is delighted to host the Hadley Group steel industry workshop, Engineered Profiles for Construction, on Tuesday 14 May 2019.

Looking at the design parameters around steel products and how precision engineering can really make a difference to profile tolerances, this workshop will outline the unique advantages of Hadley Group’s steel profiles demonstrating how to achieve increased weight savings while maintaining strength and rigidity.

Principles of Hadley Group’s Engineering Prowess

An overview of why Hadley Group engineers its profiles to the level and standards that it does and what that means in real practice. Offering significant savings in weight coupled with increased strength, the manufacturers will demonstrate how this is achieved and how it can benefit your next project by introducing improved productivity and efficiencies.

The proof with DesignSuite Pro
Alan Wildsmith, Group Product Manager – Structural
 
DesignSuite Pro is Hadley Group’s intuitive and customisable software package that supports the design and specification of projects based on our cold rolled, high strength, lightweight UltraZed™ purlins and UltraBeam side rails and floor beams. It is the only computer software that is fully integrated for wind and snow analysis. The session will include an interactive demonstration of the software using drawings from a recent project to outline how a plain profile, designed in a certain way can deliver real time and weight savings as well as other unique benefits.
