Prof. Caroline Field MSc, CEng MICE, PE is a Partner at PA Consulting and leads their resilience business. Caroline has a background in asset and infrastructure resilience with over 26 years of professional experience including 12 years in counter terrorism, blast mitigation and physical security and 7 years in earthquake engineering and dynamics. She has spent the past 10 years combining this expertise with the social and people aspects of resilience.
Dr Alessandro Palmeri is a Reader in Structural Engineering & Dynamics and the Leader of the Structures & Materials Group within the School of Architecture, Building & Civil Engineering at Loughborough University. His research focuses on applications of structural dynamics, including bridge, earthquake and wind engineering, and probabilistic methods, including reliability and performance-based design.
