A webinar, sponsored by Graitec, dedicated on how to get the most from your Autodesk AEC Collection.

This webinar will look at workflows for modelling and detailing steelwork using the Autodesk AEC Collection.

Since the introduction of the Steel tab to Revit in 2019, users can create over 150 parametric steel connections, which automatically create plates, bolts, anchors, welds, holes, and all other items associated with the connections.

After a demonstration of the principal connections available, the webinar will then focus on the workflow between Revit and Advance Steel, which allows users to produce automatic fabrication drawings and generate CNC manufacturing data from the model which was started in Revit.

Reasons to attend

  • Hear about the modelling of steelwork connections in Autodesk Revit

  • Discover how the transferring of data between Autodesk Revit and Advance Steel works

  • Learn how to use the new Advance Steel feature on Autodesk AEC to produce fabrication output

Intended for

  • Engineers using Autodesk Revit modelling steelwork

  • Professionals who are creating steel connections from model in place solids or generic families

  • Engineers who are being asked to produce more fabrication output
