By the end of the course, you should be able to:
Practising engineers who wish to gain an insight into current methods of structural analysis and design against blast loads.
No specific knowledge for attending this course is required, although some knowledge about elementary structural dynamics is preferable.
Our Training and Events Team has been working hard to ensure that the quality of our training does not differ despite no longer being in the classroom. We understand the importance of interacting with tutors and engaging with other delegates, and this has been prioritised when transferring our courses onto an online platform.
This course will be delivered virtually via Zoom and divided into manageable sessions. The content remains the same as the in-house version of the course and the group size is still limited to allow the same level of interaction to take place between delegates and the tutor(s).

This course introduces the UK fire regulatory framework.
An online course tntroducing fundamental vibrations theory.
This two day online course presents methods for using computational design within engineering design.
This online two day course extends the principles developed in the Understanding structural behaviour course to more complex, real structures and the all important skills of approximate analysis for checking computer output and member sizing.
An online three day course dedicated to improving your sketching abilities and techniques.
This two day course provides participants with an understanding of the basic principles of temporary works design.
This online course provides an understanding of temporary works, how they are managed in construction and the importance of controlling costs and risks.
This course equips practising engineers to undertake the full structural design of a building, including designing a robust building to avoid disproportionate collapse.
Join us at this November event to find out about the Structural Engineers Registration (SER) certification scheme for the design of building structures in Scotland.
