The Institution of Structural Engineers is issuing a call for presentations relating to the Using Concrete in a changing environment e-conference, to take place online from 5-7 July 2022. The Institution welcomes submissions related to the following themes by 28 January 2022:
Concrete construction solutions
Reusing concrete buildings
Life extension and adaptation
Design interventions (detailing slabs, span, deflections, loading and finishing)
Practical use of novel materials (AACM, calcined clay and limestone filler and self-healing concrete)
Please use the online form to submit a proposal for your presentation. The e-conference Task Group will review and select submissions. The number of accepted proposals will be limited. The Institution will contact speakers regarding the status of their proposals
Successful speakers will be required to present via our e-conference platform at the live event in July 2022, and to participate in live Q&A.
