By the end of the course, you should be able to:
Design engineers with a reasonable level of experience. However, it will be of use to all concerned with demolition and refurbishment, including contractors, client managers and advisors.
The course is designed to cover specific engineering topics, and therefore will be of maximum benefit to those with a reasonable level of experience in construction. However, there are no minimum requirements for attending or benefitting from this course.
Charles has over 40 years’ experience in structural and geotechnical design for temporary and permanent works, and in management and coordination of the design process. He is an Associate in Wentworth House Partnership. Charles presented a paper on designing cost-effective temporary works at the 2009 national conference on deep basements and underground structures.
