He has been responsible for the design of many deep basements in the UK and overseas. Intended for Practising structural engineers who want to be able to design retaining walls or wish to update their knowledge of a retaining wall design. Entry criteria A basic knowledge of engineering principles is assumed, but the course will not require a detailed knowledge of soil mechanics and geotechnical engineering.
