Bryden Wood - The Role of the Engineer in a Modern, Digitally Enable Society

Current construction practices are failing the industry and have resulted in very slow increases in productivity - especially compared with other sectors (such as the automotive industry).

Kevin Masters will introduce the idea of platforms, an approach adapted from the technology sector, whereby you mobilise ‘product-based’ ecosystems, which are motivated and incentivised to innovate. He will discuss some of the commercial barriers that presently prohibit the uptake of new ways of working.

He will also provide an update on some of the prototyping work Bryden Wood are carrying out and have already completed.
