The fourth in a series of online technical lectures on the Building Safety Act, arranged by the South East regional group for all. This technical lecture focuses on safety case reports and structural risk assessments for higher risk buildings (HRBs)

This is the fourth in a series of technical lectures on the Building Safety Act and its impact on the wider industry. This session will focus on Safety Case Reports. It will explain what these are in relation to Higher Risk Buildings and the role that structural engineers have in contributing to them via the structural risk assessment process and condition surveys.

Note that this will be one of a series of BSA-related CPD sessions through 2025

David Rivers, Partner, Cundall,

David is a Partner in Cundall’s London structural team. He has experience across a range of building types and sectors, and in the last 12 months has been working closely with the Institution and building owners to understand the requirements for Safety Case Reporting and develop suitable methodologies for structural risk assessment to support this.
