The Institution of Structural Engineers Western Counties Regional Group and the University of the West of England (UWE) are running their series of courses on the material Eurocodes. These courses are aimed at practicing engineers making the transition from British Standards to the Eurocodes, and also graduates developing their design skills.
The course runs on Mondays over five weeks. The date of a sixth week (27 November 2023) is included in case one of the preceding sessions has to be postponed due to any unforeseen reason.
This course is on steelwork design.
As with previous courses, the first week will be used to introduce the basic principles of design to the Eurocodes, EC0 and EC1.
