Need your Valuable input

I need your valuable input.
I am currently facing an issue with our current project.
Please find attached picture.
- the bearing plate already manufactured but the duct hole on site is changed to 300mm.
- so in order to assure the bearing area still enough and the bending of original plate is strengthened, i need to add a back plate.
- I alreaady done calcuation but is there any specific rule (as per standard specifically eurocode) to consider?
- it would be great if anyone can show me example.

thank you in advance.
