The Portland House Travelling Scholarship 1932

It will be recalled that Mr. Walter M. Goodesmith, Graduate, was the winner of last year's scholarship, his design for a concrete church having been published in The Structural Engineer of March, 1933 (page 127). Mr. Goodesmith has now fulfilled his obligations by presenting to the Institution the thesis embodying the results of his Continental tour, which occupied seven weeks and covered some thirty cities and towns in seven countries.
