A Review of the Structural Steelwork in the 'Seraphim' Extensions at Appleby-Frodingham Discussion on the paper by Mr. S. Richards and Mr. N. Lancaster

MR. LANCASTER presented the paper. He said that as soon as Mr. Richards and himself had commenced the preparatory work it had become very obvious that without illustration to a degree impracticable in the printed form, the paper would tend to become a sea of words. The Authors had seen the project develop on site before their eyes, an advantage to them-but a disadvantage to those reading the published account.
