Research for the Concrete Industry The Work of the Research Organization of the Cement and Concrete Association

Though the ‘concrete industry’ has no distinct entity except in certain specialized aspects, the term is a useful one in describing those parts of the work of various professions and industries that involve the use of Portland cement. It is also appropriate for the purpose of this paper in that the research organization of the Cement and Concrete Association, though financed by the cement manufacturing industry, is in fact Concerned almost entirely with providing help to the cement user.
